The Gathering @ Le Transbordeur (Lyon, FR) - 10.09.2006

The band played a setlist far more atmospheric and calm than the ones they performed in summer festivals. Weirdly, the result was a much more enjoyable concert, filled with emotions. This intense experience was perfectly concluded by Strange Machines, asked forcefully by the audience, and greeted with wild applause afterwards.

The Gathering @ M'era Luna (Hildesheim, DE) - 12.08.2006

Could Anneke have chosen more pop-style clothes? If she had walked in the festival enclosure among everyone, we would have only seen her! Well done! The band keeps its own style, without wondering about what people think or say. It's quite rare, and they should take credit for that! And above all that, it works!

The Gathering @ Graspop Metal Meeting (Dessel, B) - 23.06.2006

After a not so enjoyable wait during the Stream Of Passion concert, we were amazed to find a spot in the middle of the front row. But! It wasn’t so amazing after all since in front of us stood a huge speaker, that only allowed us to see Anneke face. Anyway, the concert was great, and the band succeeded in making us want to see them again.
