Sonata Arctica @ Rockstore (Montpellier, FR) - 02.05.2006

Well, this concert nearly didn’t make it here. Due to a food intoxication in Paris, Doro was forced to cancel, and Sonata Arctica didn’t dare to do the same since the last time they should have played here, they had already cancelled. So here they were, with an exhausted Tony, who was more often on the ground than standing. Besides, the sound was awful, and if the crowd hadn’t sung along, it would have been difficult to say that it was SA on stage.

Sonata Arctica @ Wacken Open Air (Wacken, DE) - 05.08.2005

This show was cool… Not bad, not extraordinary. It was great to see the Finnish on stage, but they weren’t as dynamic as expected, and it was mainly due to the songs. The setlist was disappointing. Well, surely it’ll be better next time. Let’s conclude with an anecdote. It was early in the afternoon, and Tony had a lot of difficulties remembering it: “Hey Wacken! How are you tonight??!! Hum, today!”
